Sheep & Wool Camp 2026 Logistics

Hello and thanks for applying to Sheep & Wool Camp 2026. Here are a few more details that will help you plan for a successful and enjoyable camp.

Please read carefully to the accommodations and travel sections and please reach out to connect@sheepandwoolcamp.com if you have further questions.

We have limited spots, so we encourage you to secure your spot with payment soon. You can find official payment registration here.  If you are applying with a spouse or a farm partner I have that link here.

Transportation

Site Farms
The two sites are 1/2mile from each other, and there will be some back and forth travel between the two sites. We will provide all necessary transportation between the two sites during the week.

Shuttle Bus Arrival and Departure
We will offer COMPLIMENTARY or PAID pick up from James Richardson International Airport to camp on Sunday, June 14th at 2pm and we will provide shuttle bus return to the airport on Friday, June 19th at 2pm.

If you are arranging your own transportation. We are approximately 1 hour drive from the James Richardson Airport in Winnipeg.  The airport does accommodate flights from all Canadian cities and you can easily rent a vehicle from the airport.

If you are driving you can find maps to the host sites Long Way Homestead and Ferme Fiola Farm. The roads are all paved to our farms, with the exception of the last 1/2 km which is a gravel road, but generally in a good driving state.

Accommodations

A camping spot at one of our farms is included in the registration fee.

  • should we offer tents for rent (people just bring sleeping bags?)
