This is a 20g package of dried Dyers Coreopsis dye flowers. Grown on our farm in Eastern Manitoba. Dyers Coreopsis flowers will produce beautiful shades of orange – brown depending on quantity of plant stuff and modifiers. For deep oranges use a concentrated amount of flower heads. The flowers come in a lined and sealed paper bag.

These are recommended amounts to achieve a range of colour
10g - 20g of dried flowers per 100g of fibre

Colour Fastness: Dyer's Coreopsis has good light-fastness and good wash-fastness

Possible Modifiers: Coreopsis dye is more sensitive to changes in the pH. Acidic modifiers will change the shade to more of a yellow. A small amount of soda ash or other alkali will bring out the red shade.
