LWH Fingering Weight Yarn - Gilderoy

20.00

Long Way Homestead yarn is a fingering weight wool from our Merino/Cotswald sheep (Gilderoy), grown on our farm in Eastern Manitoba, Treaty One Territory and spun at a small mill in North Dakota.

Featuring the structure and fineness of merino, with the staple length of cotswald, this yarn is a beautiful natural charcoal colour and will look great in textured patterns.

approximately 200yds/183meters and 50g

Our sheep are raised on pasture and hay on our 140 acre farm, under the big, beautiful Manitoba sky. We use rotational grazing strategies to promote healthy soil, decrease parasite loads in our sheep and to help manage reduce our carbon footprint by growing healthy, local pasture grasses.
