LWH Fingering Weight Yarn - Rex

20.00

Long Way Homestead yarn is a fingering weight wool from our Merino/Cotswald/BFL sheep (Rex), grown on our farm in Eastern Manitoba, Treaty One Territory and spun at a small mill in North Dakota.

Featuring the beautiful lustre and curly long locks of cotswald, with the fineness of merino, this yarn is beautifully soft with stunning sheen, and will be fantastic for dyeing or using as a luxurious white yarn.

approximately 200yds/183meters and 85g

Our sheep are raised on pasture and hay on our 140 acre farm, under the big, beautiful Manitoba sky. We use rotational grazing strategies to promote healthy soil, decrease parasite loads in our sheep and to help manage reduce our carbon footprint by growing healthy, local pasture grasses.
